Dear Friends,

The intentions of this website are to inform people about the death penalty and show the many victims that it in turn creates. It is to expose the lack of justice in Scott's case as well as help other mentally ill or challenged prison inmates. This site is to help end the death penalty someday.

Most of all, it was created to garner support from people who believe in peace not revenge and government sanctioned murder. It is to save my brothers life from an imperfect administration of punishment by the government.A government that states it will give no cruel and unusual punishment in its constitution.

The death penalty is cruel and unusual punishment, it is barbaric and most of all, it is irreversible punishment. It has been proved throughout history that innocent people have died on death row in the United States.

This site is not by any means meant to dismiss or justify the horrible crime my brother, Scott, committed. Rather, a way to expose the tragedy and shoddy police protection of the Alvarado family.

This site has also helped expose Judge Ables who has as much regard for the Alvarado family's lives as he does Scott's. Allowing Scott, an insane man, to be his own defense attorney in a capital punishment case and then letting him question a crime victim himself was a travesty of justice. I watched it happening before my eyes.

I knew when this site went up that people would misunderstand what we are trying to do. I hope that in time that the people against it will see it is a sincere yet indirect apology to the people who suffered the very most: Sonja, her deceased parents, Scott's children and the rest of the Alvarado family.

I dream that someday the families involved will make amends and find a common ground of forgivness. Dreams become reality sometimes. We are honestly doing the best we can. We have all suffered great sorrow and suffering since Septermber of 1992.
